Dear Michele,
On our first meeting in New Orleans, I knew I made the right choice in asking you to be my wedding planner. Not only was it obvious that you know every wedding vendor in New Orleans, but also you have been such a joy throughout the entire wedding planning process. I am sincerely thankful for your help in making my wedding dreams come true. During the months of planning, you were a great source of fun ideas, you made sure every detail was covered, and you managed the four sets of parents with ease. Once our wedding weekend arrived, I had not one worry because you were always five steps ahead. From the candle-lit rehearsal dinner and dessert reception at Latrobe's on Royal, to the chandeliers hanging in the 500 year old oak trees at Houmas House and orchestration of the amazing second-line to end the ceremony. My wedding was a magical event – and for that I thank you. Not to mention our reverend, your adorable husband, conducted our vows beautifully. Again, thanks for giving me a fabulous wedding and I look forward to finding another excuse to have a party in New Orleans with your help.
Very Fondly,
Andrea Brooks
Brittani,
Words can't even express how happy I am with how everything turned out at our wedding, all thanks to you! I think it says "Unique Weddings will exceed all your expectations" on your website, and it is absolutely true. Everything was beyond perfect. People are still talking about how amazing the Band was, how beautiful the flowers were, how delicious the cake was, and I LOVED how my hair and makeup turned out! All vendors I never would have found if it weren't for you. Not only did you do a fabulous job, but I enjoyed working with you!
If there is one piece of advice I could give future brides who make the best decision they will ever make by choosing to work with you, is to relax and stop worrying, because they are in great hands. If there is a deadline or something that needs to be done you are on top of it, and will let them know and make sure it is all taken care of. You can't even really put a price on that.
Thanks again for everything, and keep in touch!

Britani and Michelle,
I just wanted to thank you both again for a 'perfect' wedding. Britani, you did an outstanding job and your staff was awesome as well. Ken joins me in thanking you both again for your professionalism that was bar none and making it a most memorable occasion for all of us.
Hope to see you soon.
Thanks again,

Michele,
Our wedding weekend was by far the best weekend of our lives. You, Brittani, and your other assistants were well organized, professional and accommodating at all times throughout the planning process and the events. I realize that having a detail-oriented bride for a client has the potential to make for a difficult planning process. You not only remained cool, calm and reassuring, but also you delivered on my every wish for my dream wedding, consistently checking-in with me to make sure that my vision was being fulfilled. I also appreciate your contribution of your own ideas for details that really added to the events. Our guests loved that we had our young ring bearer pull his two infant cousins down the aisle in an antique wagon (your idea). Nobody knows how you were able to pull of an oyster bar in the midst of the gulf's largest oil spill-but everyone commened on how delicious the oysters were.
You and Eric from Bee's Flowers utterly transformed the Board of Trade into a magical place, where our guests "ooohed" and "aahed" at every last pink and orange detail. The food was exceptional, the band great, and the photo booth a total hit.
At first we thought that second-lining to the quarter would be too far of a walk in the heat of July, but you assured us it could be done and that it would be the best way to end our New Orleans reception for mostly out-of-town guests. Boy, were you right. Many of our guests told us that they've never had so much fun in their lives than when they were second-lining down Bourbon Street with pink and orange umbrellas and personalized handkerchiefs, with the crowd cheering us on and joining in with us. (Funny story—my aunt and 90 year-old grandmother jumped in a cab when the second line left the reception. They told the cabbie to drop them off at Bourbon Street and Canal, where they would be joining in a parade down Bourbon Street. The cabbie said that there was no way a parade would go down Bourbon St., but he took them anyway. To my grandmother's great delight and the cabbie's surprise, sure enough, as they waited in the air-conditioned cab, they watched as a police escort on motorcycles escorted our brass band and parade right down Bourbon Street. Grandma got out and joined us!)
As a bride who had to plan her entire wedding from afar, I was at first nervous that my vision couldn't be possible within my budget. After my first phone call with you, I felt a weight lifted from my shoulders, and I knew I could count on you to make it all happen. I felt that I was in excellent hands every step of the way from then on, and I never doubted that it would be a huge success. Michele, it was so much more than a success. It was more beautiful and fun that I ever imagined, and many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they had ever been to.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. We will cherish our memories of that day.
Take good care,
Emily E. B. Holt

Dear Brittani,
Thank you so much for making Merritt and Jeff's Wedding ceremony
to seamless and beautiful! You are the BEST!
I don't think it could have been any better. (This is coming
from a controlling individual, who want to do everything
herself and founds it hard to let the control go.) Usually,
something goes wrong, but you and your family were on the
MARK, and everything flowed perfectly. Thanks for being so
ORGANIZED. Taking all the worries from me, so I could actually
enjoy being with my daughters on this special day. Thanks
for staying in touch throughout the process. Thanks for taking
Merritt around the city to look at possible locations and
venues, since we knew very little of New Orleans. The selections
were perfect for what Merritt and Jeff wanted. Everyone enjoyed
the ceremony and dinner afterwards at Antoine's. Having the
tour put the in-laws at ease, the private dining room and
the presentations were so special. Not to mention the table
was beautiful and the food delicious. You helped Merritt
pick the very best New Orleans vendors from the hairdresser
and makeup artist, florist, bakery, restaurant, and photographer.
They all were very professional and we appreciate that. Merritt
glowed all night!
I hope the next time we are in New Orleans that we can thank
you in person.
Thank you and your family again.

Hi Michele:
First of all, let me say that My wedding was so magical!!
Thanks to your design concept and Dee's (Bella Blooms) fabulous
work, Everything was beautiful.
We are still getting rave reviews on how breathtaking things
were. Unique weddings in New Orleans in one of a kind....
Thanks so much for being there for me, I looked forward
to our meetings as it provided an escape from all the craziness
here in BR. We are so blessed to have met you!!
I wish that I could go back in
time to take in the wedding ceremony and reception once
more. You guys really made me feel like i had a "platinum wedding".
I knew that it would be great but everything EXCEEDED MY
EXPECTATIONS.....
Thanks so much again for providing impeccable service. I
will never forget you!!
Dearest Michele and Brittani,
After only a few minutes into our first meeting, Katy and
I knew we had chosen the right wedding planner, breathing
an audible sigh of relief as you demonstrated your knowledge,
skill, and experience in the early stages of planning. With
each subsequent email, phone call and meeting, we were continually
reassured that all of our requests, even to the smallest
details, would be given personal and prompt attention.
I'm sure that each wedding you serve is pulled off with the
same example of hospitality and professionalism that you
demonstrated this past weekend, and that all of the mothers
and brides are as appreciative of your efforts as Katy and
I are. However, I can't express enough, the pleasure and
most importantly, the relief that we felt because of the
most excellent service provided by "Unique Weddings
in New Orleans" for our daughter's wedding. Your sweet
southern hospitality, efficiency, and professionalism were
above and beyond our expectations, allowing my daughter and
I to be completely free from concern, and to enjoy the occasion
to the fullest.
With most sincere appreciation for a job well done,
Anne Parr (mother of the bride)

we're back from honeymoon #1 and i finally have a few seconds
to breathe. just wanted to thank you and your entire team
for helping to make our wedding day such a special one. as
you know, once you arrived on the scene, everything started
falling into place -- and andy and i started sleeping again.
and, i'm sooo thrilled that you insisted on having a large
staff at the wedding -- i honestly think it would have been
a total chaotic mess if there hadn't been so many extra hands
helping out. and, you made us feel like royalty since there
were plenty of people on hand to take care of all our little
requests in a timely fashion.
i only wish we had connected sooner so that our entire wedding
experience would have been much simpler, more fun -- and
more on budget (from our many conversations, i see how you
could have saved us even more money if we had your guidance
throughout the process).
and, on top of that --- you are such a fun and kind person,
an absolute pleasure to work with...you listened to us, offered
suggestions, and always worked to ensure that our wedding
was the way that WE wanted it to be....
the next time i hear about a couple planning a wedding in
NOLA, i will send them your way.
lots of thanks and great big hugs
I honestly don’t know where to start – words
can not even begin to express our extreme gratitude for your
help, support and advice during our wedding planning. From
Day 1, oh so long ago, it was an absolute pleasure working
with you. With us having a FULL destination wedding with
ALL out town guests, you really helped us to not only plan
a genuine New Orleans wedding, but you also helped us to
UNDERSTAND one. We feel truly blessed to have come across
your name in our planning process; I don’t know how
we would have ever done it without you. From your recommendations
to your help with the few minor problems we came across the
entire planning process was an absolute pleasure for us in
working with you. You so kindly met with us each and every
visit of ours to New Orleans . You were even helping with
set up and flow at our WELCOME NIGHT!!
Then came the wedding….Michele,
looking back, I can not imagine if I had not had you there
on that day to take care of everything for us!! We truly
got to enjoy each and every single minute of our day. My
ability to be able to just look to you for direction and
help that day made ALL my worries go away, and I know above
all, that is what Josh wanted most for me. I would recommend
your services to ANYONE. My girlfriends that live in the
Northeast want you to do THEIR weddings!!
Working with you was perfect and our wedding day, the best
day of my life, was absolutely FLAWLESS, perfect and better
than I expected (and I had high expectations).
I will truly miss talking to you, but please know that every
time I think of our perfect wedding day, I will look back
with the fondest memories of your support and guidance.

Michele -
We missed you last night but before we headed off to Hawaii.
We wanted to let you know how great everything was. You nailed
every single detail we wanted and all of our guests had THE
BEST time...most claiming it was the party of the year. Brittani
was amazing...she was so organized and got everything done
when it needed to be, she was very attentive and sweet and
we are so lucky to have had her run our truly amazing event.
Marie and Karen were also the greatest, in fact, Marie was
our secondline escort, she definitely stopped traffic to
get everyone out of the square - it was great! Again, we
wish you could have been there last night to celebrate however,
you left us in such great hands, everything went off without
a hitch!
Also, every single vendor from No Idea Band to Gwen Asario
- hair and make up and ALL the others were absolutely the
best, you definitely have fantastic vendors!!!!!!
Thanks so much!!!!!! We really appreciate everything!!!!!!!!
Love,
Amy & Ben
Michele Adams: Not only is she
a total and complete lifesaver, she is a great person.
I love, love, love her. She did an amazing job of orchestrating
everything so that it went super smoothly. If you ever
have any doubt as to whether or not you should hire a DOC,
don’t think anymore, just hire
Michele. She saved our butts so many times on the day of
the wedding (getting cd’s for us, getting the rings
when MH forgot them 40 minutes before the ceremony), she
was worth every penny and then some.

Dear Michele,
Thank you so much for all of your AMAZING help with our wedding. Everything the
entire weekend was perfect, and you were always a phone call away whenever we
needed you. For instance, when the Orleans Parish website failed to mention
that the place where marriage licenses were issued was now closed. I think it
was meant to be though, because our trip out to Algiers was a great little break
and a special memory for both of us.
Also.. THE CAKE. Never would I have dreamed
that a cake that beautiful and delicious came out of a strip
center in Kenner. A guest that is a pastry chef at the Four
Seasons in Washington, DC said it was the best wedding cake
she has ever tasted. I am counting down to the one year anniversary
so I can finally have more than two bites of it!
Your connections
in the city were also such a great help to us. You already
knew everyone who we had previously been working with, and
that made everything so much easier. When my scattered brain
was attempting to create an idea, you were right there on
the other end, understanding exactly what I wanted and looking
out for our budget. Your input and advice helped me make
my vision come to life and your ideas added amazing detail
and beauty.
I could go on and on about a lot of things.
Just to lightly touch on some: How easy you made the planning
for me when my mom couldn’t be there to help.
How wonderfully your recommended vendors performed and executed
exactly what we had discussed. How much you helped with our
ceremony situation when finding a church was MUCH harder
than we thought.
On the wedding day, I felt like I did not have to worry about
anything (well, except when Seth thought the toasting flute
was a regular rented glass and set it down somewhere, but
even then, Jeff found it before I had time to begin looking).
It was almost like I had 10 planners taking care of everything
I needed, and you all made it feel that way. As if I wasn’t
happy enough with our relationship together leading up to
and through the wedding day, you have been available since
the wedding to assist me with any finishing questions or
vendors I needed to get in touch with. That is truly above
and beyond and has helped me considerably.
I would not hesitate
to recommend you to any bride, whether she is in New Orleans
or out of town, because you helped me to remain calm and
anxiety free when I thought those things could never be done.
Thank you for helping so much to make the most special day
in our lives more than I ever imagined it could be.
Don’t
miss me too much, or I may start calling you again!
Many, many, many thanks, and wishing you, your daughter,
and Jeff all the best!
Becky and Seth Flechsig
Everything was beyond amazing, especially
you and your team. We all felt very taken care of and without
worry. I can't believe I could really let everything go that
easily.. letting other people be in charge is wonderful!
We have received more compliments than
I can say on everything and I really had no regrets or concerns...
except I have NO IDEA where the time went.

Dear Michele,
One more time, a great
big thank you for helping make Lauren’s
day such a spectacular event. Everyone told me it was the
best wedding and reception they have ever been to. One of
her friends who recently married in California said it was “tons
better than her reception”. Could not have done this
with out all of your amazing vendor recommendations.
Sincerely,
Debbie

Dear Michele
Lee and I would like to thank
you so much for helping us with our wedding. It was fabulous.
It was the best wedding we've been to and thankfully it
was our own. It was so memorable and wonderful. We weren't
stressed during the wedding and you handled all of the finishing
touches for us. The contacts you had were fabulous especially
Royal Cakery and Cristina O'Malley. You're the best. Thank
you again for making our day so special and memorable.

Again, thanks for being a SUPERIOR wedding
coordinator. You made everything go so smoothly. I enjoyed
working with you. It was a total blast. In my 31 years as
a priest, I have never seen such a first class wedding, nor
have I ever been impressed with a wedding consultant. You
are the best.

I can not compliment you and your staff
enough for the first class job everyone did in planning and
executing her day. Eva and I have received an overwhelming
number of compliments from our family and friends about how
special and well organized the day was. From beginning to
end you assisted Eva and Katie with great advice and direction
that resulted in the perfect wedding day in this dad’s
opinion.
Consider this a special thank you Michele personally from

Scott
and I want to thank you so much for the amazing coordination
that you did for our wedding on March 4, 2006. You were
God sent!!! Planning a New Orleans wedding from Atlanta
was challenge enough, but Hurricane Katrina sent the
challenge over the top. Your grace under pressure and superlative
professionalism kept us calm and focused through all
the chaos, even when we were unsure if we could still keep
our wedding in New Orleans. Your offer to be our wedding
coordinator no matter where we had the wedding was above
and beyond, but boy are we glad we were able to keep
the location in New Orleans!!!! If there was a hitch in the
planning, Scott and I sure didn’t
know about it. From the moment that we started planning
until we left the reception- everything was planned and
executed to perfection.
About 95% of the guest were from
out of town, and they cannot stop talking about the Audubon
Clubhouse with the breathtaking Oak trees (quite the memorable
wedding ceremony location) and the “to die for” food; At Fault
was amazing and kept the reception “hopping”;
the Second Line and cake pulls were a novelty to everyone.
I could go on and on about the vendors, but Scott and I
cannot take the credit for having such a “talked
about” wedding- that was all your doing. Your expertise/knowledge
of the vendors made our selection process seamless. You
not only took the time (and patience) to figure out what
our style was, but you took that vision and created our
perfect wedding. So for coordinating such a “much
talked about” wedding amongst our friends/family-
we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We couldn’t
have pulled the wedding off without you!!! Thank you for
making such a special lifetime memory (for us and our guest).

How can Paul and I begin to thank you for all your help
to plan our wedding? It was the absolute perfect wedding
of our dreams and our guests have not stopped talking about
the amazing time they had.
I know 2005 was a very difficult time for you and New
Orleans. Despite your struggles, you encouraged us to keep
our plans in NOLA and managed to ensure that everything
we had envisioned came to froition.
Your care and professionalism allowed us to enjoy our
most special day. It quite simply would not have happened
without you. It was as stress-free as possible, as fun
as is legal and a celebration with memories to last a life
time.
Please give our best to Johnny, Brittani, and Nana...your
superior team!

Thanks a million for doing an outstanding job for Natailie's
wedding at the Country Club of Louisiana in Baton Rouge.
Our guests enjoyed themselves immensely; they are still
talking about the wedding. Everything went so smooth and
the vendors you recommended were fantastic.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding, most
of all thanks for planning a spectacular event.

Hi Michele,
I just wanted to thank you for making my wedding a beautiful
and low stress event. Everything went smoothly and Eric
and I had an absolutely wonderful time. We could not have
done it without your awesome work. I have received so many
comments that the wedding was the most beautiful and the
most fun that people have been to and those two things
were the most important to me -- beautiful and fun. Marie
and Karen were great too! We had a wonderful time, thanks
for everything,

Dear Michele,
What a feat!! You were just wonderful
ensuring that every detail was attended to and that our "dreams do come
true!!!" There is no doubt in our minds that you are
a gem! We could not have enjoyed or planned this wonderful
wedding weekend without you and we all know it!!!
Thank you so much and please know that this wedding will
be in our memories forever. We have you to thank!!
Please let Brittani know how wonderful and professional
she is and that we want to thank her as well. Her last
minute delivery on Sunday morning was so appreciated. Our
very best and deep appreciation!

Taylor and I cannot thank you enough
for creating the most magical wedding we could have ever
envisioned.
Every single detail of our three day event was perfect.
All of the logistics were absolutely seamless, which, believe
me, was noted by several of our guests. From the transportation
for Jazz Fest and Rock 'n' Bowl to the police escorts for
the Second Line. The locations you showed us were amazing,
places we would have never found on our own. Every vendor
we used provided service that exceeded our expectations.
We never could have put together our wedding without you.
The thing that still amazes me is that with everything
going on and all of the little last minute changes you
were always an absolute joy to work with, you never said
'no' to any of our ideas and every last thing we wanted
you made happen. Planning a wedding could not have been
made easier. We never had to think twice once we arrived
in New Orleans , everything was taken care of so we could
enjoy our weekend with our friends and family and not worry
about the details. We just knew you had it all covered.
We are forever grateful to you, your staff, your friends
and your sweet family for making Taylor and I feel so welcome
every time we came to N.O. and so comfortable in the weeks
and days leading up to the wedding.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!" - Melisa & Taylor
Dear Michele,
I don't know what to say that Melisa didn't. She said
it all and then some. The only thing I can really add to
Melisa's wonderful and true note is that I can't tell you
how many people have come up to me and said, 'that was
the greatest wedding I've ever been too.' These people
have been to SO many weddings in their day that it is truly
a compliment and it is a compliment to you. You did all
this Michele and you did it with grace, style and tons
of humor. It was such a cool weekend for us and we can't
thank you and your whole crew enough. What a phenomenal
family and group of friends you have and that is all a
reflection on what an amazing person you are. Melisa and
I had the only type of wedding that could have ever worked
for us and that is ALL because of you!!! Thank you for
everything and please thank Marie, Meda, Johnny, et al
for being truly sensational.
Much love,
Taylor Reinhart
Dear Michele,
I just wanted to thank you for
the fabulous job you did for our wedding, Sept. 25, 2004.
We couldn't have been more thrilled with the preparations
you made, the vendors and locations you chose, and the
ease with which the day flowed under your direction.
Planning a wedding from out of state is never easy, but
you made us feel that we didn't miss a singe step despite
being hundreds of miles away! I also have to say a special
thanks to you for suggestion a Second Line March through
the French Quarter. I would have never known to include
this in the festivities and it turned out to be one of
the most fun parts of the whole day! So many of our guests
said it was the "most fun" wedding
they had ever attended, and I would have to agree!
I would recommend you (and already have) to anyone planning
a wedding in New Orleans or the surrounding area. Your
professionalism and attention to detail was evident in
all aspects of the day, but you never made us feel rushed.
How you managed it all is beyond me, but I am so pleased
that we had you to help plan our wedding. It was a truly
unforgettable day, thanks to you.
Thank you,

Words can't begin to express how much
we appreciate all that you did to help make Adrianne and
Lance's wedding day even more special. Brittani is certainly
following in her mom's footsteps in doing such a professional
job.
As our wedding coordinators you handled
ever detail from the rehearsal to reception with such care
for our needs. There wasn't a problem that you couldn't
solve and that made our worries so much lighter. Every
thing fell into place and went on without a hitch. I know
that this happened because of all of your hard work done
behind the scenes. We could not and would not want to have
had this wedding without your help. I would highly recommend
your services to anyone planning a wedding in the New Orleans
area. You are the best Michele and Brittani.

Wedding Planner – Michele
Adams - A+
I cannot say enough great things about Michele. From the
beginning, she answered my emails right away, she set up
all of my appts. and meetings with vendors, she let me
know when she thought things were too expensive and/or
she came up with alternatives to save money. There is no
way that we could've had our day without her. Everyone
commented to me on how nice she was, but more importantly,
how much in charge she was. She didn't overlook anything
and everyone was extremely happy and that's what was important
to me. We talked about how I wanted everything to be set
up and I was a little late getting the votives to her,
but she figured out what I wanted and had EVERYTHING set
up exactly how I wanted. I almost cried when I walked into
the reception area, but I didn't want to ruin my makeup.
She definitely took a load of stress off of us and I highly
recommend getting a planer if not for full-time, at least
for day-of.
PS –as I was typing this
up, the groom wanted me to throw in that even HE gives
Michele an A+.
Dear Michelle,
Cory and I wanted to thank you for
being such a wonderful help in making our wedding day one
of the best days of our lives! You went to the extra effort
to make sure Cory, myself, my family and wedding party
were having the best time. You were a wonderful asset in
planning our New Orleans wedding. Since I lived in Florida
you make planning the wedding a lot of fun and hassle free.
You were extremely useful in providing suggestions of venues,
vendors and general suggestions, and we couldn't have had
the wedding of our dreams without all of your advice and
recommendations.

Michele,
Thanks for the excellent work you did in planning and
managing our wedding in New Orleans . At first, we were
worried about having our wedding so far from home, but
with you in charge, we were able to relax completely, and
enjoy everything. Other couples talk about how stressful
it was to plan their weddings, and how they can't remember
the actual event because they were so busy, and I just
smile politely ... because you made everything so easy
for us, that we had the day of our lives. We will never
forget how great our wedding was, and we owe that to you
and your team. All of our guests still talk about how much
fun they had, and that a perfect wedding it was. They loved
coming to New Orleans in the first place, and that night
was the best night of all the great nights they had. From
the setting, to the pacing, to the food, to the entertainment,
everything was exactly right. I would highly recommend
your services to anyone considering a wedding in New Orleans
. In fact, they shouldn't do it any other way.
Thank you,
Matt Morgan
Dearest Michele,
Roderick and I would like to take the time to thank you
for a job well done with our wedding. Everything was beautiful!
When we arrived in New Orleans from Houston , we didn't
know what to expect. It was our first time being there.
Not only did we have our wedding there, but also we had
a chance to see what New Orleans had to offer.
All Of our arrangements were
made via phone, fax and e-mails. I put faith and trust
in you, and you assured me that everything would be okay.
I told you about my vision of how I wanted to be married
with candles and rose petals, surrounded by our closest
family and friends. You gave me all of the feedback and
attention that I needed. So when our ideas came together,
the end result was an intimate, romantic wedding, with
fresh flowers, a fountain and candlelight. The reception
at Antoine's was literally the icing on our “cakes”.
When we walked into the restaurant, we were taken aback
by it's beauty. The food was absolutely wonderful. Our
wedding cakes were beautiful. Everything that we asked
for, you gave it to us. So again, we must thank you. From
our hotel reservations to the wedding in the beautiful
French Quarter courtyard, Bob Bradford's photography to
the Limo's to the reception at Antoine's to just allowing
us to enjoy the wonderful city of New Orleans ......We
Thank You!!!!!!
Sincerely Yours,
Kimberly and Roderick Dunn

We wanted to thank you again
for the unbelievable job you did with our wedding. We
can't believe how beautiful it was! On paper, the potential
for problems was huge: two different cultures, one Catholic
and one Muslim wedding ceremony, everbody coming in from
out of town (including the bride and groom) and the various "characters" involved.
All of that could (and did) lead to a lot of little snags,
but you made it seem like that was pretty much to be expected,
and never a problem. You handled every situation and every
person very smoothly, and the final product was incredible!!!
From the food and the flowers to the bands and the candles,
it was all so amazing. Two months later, people are still
telling us that our weekend made for the most beautiful,
enchanting wedding they had ever been to. It truly was
a magical night and the happiest moment of both of our
lives. And there was no way we would have ever been able
to pull it off, much less enjoy it, without your being
there.
So thank you so much for helping to create the best night
of our lives! Any time you need a reference, you just have
them call us, and we will let them know that the best decision
the bride and groom can make is to get you involved.

Well the wedding weekend was
a fabulous success! Even the weather worked so well for
us. Dan and I couldn't have asked for a better event.
All of our guests are raving about the location and the
food at the dinner. We keep getting comments like "that was the most beautiful
ceremony I ever attended" and that the wedding dinner
was the "best food in New Orleans".
You did a great job coordinating everything and I am so
glad you convinced me to add some of those little touches
to my second wedding. It came off so fantastic and we all
danced the night away with the great jazz band.
Thank you so very much for all of your help with our big
event. Good luck and please know that I will be happy to
give you a reference at any time.

We can't thank you enough for the wonderful job that you
did planning our wedding. Everything was perfect! How did
you ever manage to arrange perfect weather for us? The
vendors you selected were all excellent: harpist, jazz
combo, florist, caterers, etc. It came off without a hitch
and we know that it was mostly due to your behind the scenes
work. We really appreciated your diligence; you planned
our wedding with the care that you would have planned your
own!
Sincerely,

What a "superlative!" I can't tell you how many
of my guests told me that our New Orleans wedding was "the
best wedding they'd ever been to!" I can't tell you
how good those comments made me feel ... and how grateful
I am for all your help in making it so!
I had hoped for a fun, personal evening with good food,
good music and the ability to focus on my guests and my
husband; I didn't want to be one of those brides who was
so stressed with the details of running the evening that
I didn't even get to eat the food or connect with the guests.
You arranged all of that and more.
Without even a true rehearsal,
you handled all the little wrinkles that arose like adding
a last minute guest to the seating chart. getting the
cocktail room switched mid-party to accommodate seating
for the ceremony, re-arranging the flow of the evening
on the fly so that it was completely stress-free. And
you made it look so effortless. Your cheerful enthusiasm
even got 50 New Englanders to wave hankies in their very
first "second-line" (not an easy feat
for those from the conservative North!).
Your venue recommendations were perfect. The Maison Dupuy
was charming and carried the New Orleans atmosphere we
wanted our guests to enjoy for the rehearsal. The food
was wonderful, the service attentive ... all we had to
do was show up and enjoy. Having the caricature artist
also was a big hit and helped break the ice across our
several groups of guests.
Your coordination of two beautiful
rooms at Antoine's for our cocktail party/ceremony and
dinner made our time there doubly delightful. My parents
and family have dined at 4 star restaurants worldwide
and had nothing but rave reviews for the food, service
and ambiance. You even found a bakery that would achieve
my wish of having a cake that tastes as good as it looks
(unlike another planner who had told me "all wedding cakes taste the same." If
only he could have tried our Bananas Foster and praline
beauty!).
I think the best thing I can say is that you made all
my guests think that Dan and I were outstanding hosts,
while you gave us the luxury of feeling like honored guests.
And, we were able to truly enjoy our own wedding!
Thank you so much. You've shown
us the true definition of "lagniappe."
Cheers,

We just wanted to thank you again
for all your excellent work on our wedding last month.
The usual phrase in these circumstances is "we couldn't have done it without
you." Well, we might have been able to do it without
you, but only by expending superhuman amounts of time and
effort--and losing our sanity.
Since we don't live in New Orleans, we vastly appreciated
your extensive network of reliable contacts. Whether it
concerned the typical for a wedding (florists, photographers,
bakers) or our more eccentric requests (like the ice sculpture
of Elvis!), you always knew the right person for the job.
And although you unfailingly had excellent advice, you
were helping us realize our vision of the perfect wedding,
rather than pushing us towards any preconceived notions
of your own.
Your professionalism and high degree of organization let
us go into our wedding weekend secure that everything was
taken care of. On the day of the wedding itself, your presence
allowed us to enjoy our own party. And during the months
of planning, your unflagging good humor helped banish the
stress.
You have our gratitude and our best wishes for the future.
Sincerely,

I wanted to take a quick minute
to thank you for everything you've done. It's been a
month now since our wedding and my wife and I can't stop
smiling. You were the best investment we made for our
wedding, hands down. We just received the proofs and
they are great pictures of incredible memories. From
the flowers to the cake and band, everyone we used was
the best. They were all so "local" that there
is no way we would have found or used them on our own.
The greatest thing for my wife
was having guests describe our wedding day as "a fairy tale," "something
out of the movies," and "one night they would
never forget." Every bride wants to feel like they
had the best wedding and Jamie knows that she did. The
greatest thing for me was telling you every idea we had,
large and small, and you being able to put them together
and make our vision come true, all the while coming in
under budget. In this day and age that doesn't happen often.
My best man thinks that our wedding cost three times what
it did. He used a wedding coordinator for his wedding also,
and you can't even compare our two weddings. His was very "cookie
cutter" and unoriginal, where I felt that ours represented
Jamie and me in every way.
The biggest compliment I could give you was the peace
of mind and calmness we both had the day of the wedding.
No fears and no worries. That is also the greatest gift
anyone could give to a couple on their wedding day. Please
do not hesitate to use us as a referral with your future
clients, and both my wife and I wish you all the best.
